The Existence Of God
The existence of GOD is a question which has bothered me since birth. I am sure it must have bothered many of you as well. But, why is it that we can't find or grasp him ? He eludes us. Actually, to find or grasp anything "one has to first become a seeker". Just like knowledge comes to those who seek it, help comes to those who want it, success comes to those who crave for it, similarly, GOD and his conception comes to those who simply seek it. It is immaterial to think about his gender, his shape or form as if one is truly concerned about seeking a goal, the properties of the goal should not be a concern, as, if that becomes the concern one takes a step away from the goal. It is as simple as that. One must look within and discover oneself, as it is we who seek GOD.
In other words, if we are the ones who are seeking GOD with all our limitations and "unlimitations", then it is within us that GOD should reside. It is nothing but the good qualities within us that is GOD, as these qualities cannot be created by any mysterious combination of atoms, molecules or whatever. When we are born, we tend to believe our senses, but if these very senses are used to conceive GOD, it does not make any sense. Think about it !
As we grow in life, our knowledge grows in quantity and quality, but it is our "unw
isdom" born out of evil qualities of anger, lust, greed, attachment, jealousy and narcissism (for lack of a better word) that prevents us to base our thinking on the ancient traditions, sayings, teachings and sermons of great men that have shown us the path of righteousness. I, coming from the most ancient of these traditions, call it "dharma" passed down to us from generation to generation from the "vedas", while other religions have decided to follow other great men to know the path leading to GOD.

If there is a will to seek GOD, then there cannot be any ill-feeling among religions as they are like rivers leading to the same vast ocean being called by different names. To conclude, there is no way one can conceive life without conceiving GOD and vice versa, and as living beings GOD and we are one and there has to be GOD as there has to be a symmetry below and above!
